The Lot Next Door
The vacant lot at 4030 Mina Avenue is next to Sullishak, on the same side of the street. It goes with the cabin in the offer.
There is no Sullishak property across the street. Dave's great-uncle, who built the home to the north, once had a lot over there and used it for parking. That property was sold and is now a vacation rental.
What is there now
Nothing has ever been built on 4030 Mina.
Water, sewer and power are at the street. Anyone thinking about building will need to establish what connections and other work would be needed for their project.
One thing worth knowing: when the new electric service was trenched in from the pole across the street in 2008, Dave carried a spare conduit past the cabin and several feet into this lot. Cable and telephone conduits went in beside it, and he photographed where they stop. That job is on the Electrical-2008 page.
A few houses Dave drew
Dave has drawn several possible houses for the lot, some with two stories and some with three. The January 2022 drawings shown here are one set of those ideas. He called that version Mina Casa.
These are Dave's own sketches — no architect or engineer has looked at them, and nothing has been permitted. Whoever takes the lot will need to find out what can actually be built. The drawings go with the property.
