Squeaky Bunny at Sullishak: the longer book
Prepublication beta edition, October 2026, for family review. It may change before any publication.

The short picture book, The Short Top Step, tells about one summer: 1947, when the cabin was built and Squeaky Bunny took the top step. This longer book keeps going. It follows Sullishak and the family through seven summers and two winters, from 1947 to now, with Bunny keeping watch the whole time. The short book is its first chapter.
It is 85 pages. It ends with a new true chapter, Somebody Did, about the pink bunny Mary sewed a squeaker into in October 2026. At the back, This Really Happened sets out what is true and what is story, and Who's Who says who everyone is.
